At Chemblast we have carried out some interesting jobs over the years two of our high profile jobs were the CSIRO Radio Telescope located at Parkes in NSW. This faculty is the one featured in the film better known as The Dish.
In 1991 we were awarded the contact to repaint the surface panels on the Observatory dish. This was a very specialized painting contract which required each panel on the 1 ACRE surface area of the dish to be painted within a thickness of 25 microns tolerance to each panel.
This job was carried out on time and on budget and after a successful completion we were awarded a further contract in 1992. This contact was for the complete repainting of 7 Telescopes located at the Paul Wild Observatory Culgoora NSW. We then completed these over shutdown times over a 3 year period. Again all work was competed on time and on budget.
These jobs have alone gained us respect and a reputation within our Industry for quality work. We now supply our services to most factories within our district, we are proud to say that once we gain a client we work with them for a long term future.
